Pearson seeks a Lead Specialist, AI Data & Knowledge Architect to design the knowledge foundation for next-gen intelligent K–12 assessment and learning systems. You will bridge content development, learning science, AI, and psychometrics to create machine-readable knowledge that AI systems can reason over.

Formación

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience designing and building knowledge graphs in production or applied settings.
• Hands-on knowledge modeling and semantic schema design using ontologies, vocabularies, or taxonomies.
• Strong command of graph and semantic technologies (RDF/OWL/SHACL/SPARQL).
• Strong data architecture skills including modeling, pipelines, provenance and lineage.
• Strong Python programming and API development experience.
• Deep understanding of predictive and generative AI, including retrieval-grounded systems.
• Proven track record building novel systems where no established solution existed.
• Ability to translate cross-disciplinary expertise into computable representations.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build the knowledge graph and knowledge model for assessment and learning domains.
• Represent standards, competencies, claims, evidence, task characteristics and content as computable structures.
• Ensure extensibility across content areas and future AI capabilities.
• Establish identity, versioning, provenance, and lifecycle for knowledge objects.
• Separate authoritative knowledge, expert judgments, derived information, and machine-generated hypotheses.
• Evaluate graph and semantic technologies for extensibility and interoperability.
• Build pipelines and mappings linking item banks, metadata, psychometrics, and sources.
• Develop schemas, APIs, and services for accessing the knowledge layer.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate knowledge layer into the authoring system.
