Pearson seeks a Lead Specialist, AI Data & Knowledge Architect to design and build the knowledge foundation for next-gen intelligent K–12 assessment and learning systems. You will work at the intersection of Content Development, Learning Science, Technology, and Psychometrics to translate assessment expertise into computable knowledge representations.

Formación

• Advanced degree in CS, AI, Information Science or related field
• Demonstrated experience designing knowledge graphs in production or applied settings
• Hands-on knowledge modeling with ontologies, vocabularies, taxonomies
• Strong command of graph and semantic technologies and tradeoffs
• Strong data architecture skills including versioning, provenance, and lineage
• Strong programming ability in Python or similar languages

Responsabilidades

• Design and build the knowledge graph and underlying knowledge model for assessment and learning domains
• Represent standards, competencies, skills, claims, evidence, task characteristics, and content as computational structures
• Establish extensibility across content areas and future AI capabilities
• Manage identity, versioning, provenance, and lifecycle of knowledge objects
• Differentiate authoritative knowledge from machine-generated hypotheses
• Evaluate and select graph and semantic technologies for extensibility and interoperability
• Build pipelines connecting item banks, standards, metadata, psychometric data into a knowledge layer
• Develop schemas, APIs, data contracts, and services to access the knowledge architecture
• Partner with software engineers to integrate the knowledge layer into the assessment system
