Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, AI Data & Knowledge Architect to design and build the knowledge foundation for the next generation of intelligent K–12 assessment and learning systems.

This founding, hands-on role operates at the intersection of Content Development, Learning Science, Technology, AI, and Psychometrics. The architecture will support diverse AI methods and enable scalable, extensible representations.

Formación

• Experience designing knowledge graphs in production or applied settings.
• Strong command of graph and semantic technologies (RDF/OWL, SHACL, SPARQL) and their tradeoffs.
• Ability to translate expertise into computable representations and communicate tradeoffs clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build the knowledge graph and underlying knowledge model for assessment and learning domains.
• Represent standards, competencies, skills, claims, evidence, task characteristics, misconceptions, content, and their relationships as computable structures.
• Design for extensibility across domains and AI capabilities; establish identity, versioning, provenance, and lineage of knowledge objects.
• Separate authoritative knowledge, expert judgments, derived information, and machine-generated hypotheses.
• Evaluate and select graph/semantic technologies based on extensibility, interoperability, and maintainability.
• Build pipelines connecting item banks, standards, metadata, psychometrics data, and other sources into a coherent knowledge layer.
• Develop schemas, APIs, data contracts, and services for applications and analytic workflows.
