Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned professional to design and build interaction patterns that make AI collaboration transparent and trustworthy. You will own the experience layer across web, app, and multimodal surfaces, translating user research into production-ready solutions.

You will work with product, engineering, AI, security, and research teams to deliver intuitive experiences while maintaining control over outcomes. Expect up to 50% travel and hybrid on-site work in US offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Portfolio of shipped interaction design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or HCI work.
• Production proficiency in modern web or application technologies.
• Experience designing for AI, search, recommendation, or automation.
• Practical command of semantic UI, WCAG, WAI-ARIA, keyboard interaction, and assistive-technology testing.
• Travel up to 50% and hybrid on-site office requirement.

Responsibilities

• Define experience principles, interaction architecture, and reusable patterns for AI-assisted products.
• Conduct workflow research and usability testing with diverse users, including assistive tech users.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes and accessible production components for web, app, conversational, or multimodal surfaces.
• Translate user intent into interaction specifications covering clarity, uncertainty, memory, personalization, permissions, and action boundaries.
• Make plans, progress, evidence, tool activity, costs, and outcomes legible for users.
