Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or ML engineering experience with at least 1-2 years focused on LLM integration, agentic AI, or AI product engineering
• Hands‑on experience building production agentic systems - multi‑step pipelines, tool orchestration, structured output handling, and multi‑turn conversation management
• Experience with RAG patterns and vector search - developed retrieval‑augmented systems in production
• Strong Python engineering skills; shipping production‑grade AI systems
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalents) into real applications
• Proven ability to lead a small team or pod through delivery and manage contractor resources
• Strong judgment on when AI is the right tool in regulated, member‑facing contexts
• Clear communicator able to explain agentic architecture to engineers and product owners
• Deep fluency with AI productivity tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Agentic AI delivery - design, build, and own AI agent workflows across UI and tooling
• Hands‑on development - write and ship production code alongside your team
• AI workflow design - architect multi‑step pipelines interfacing with data and activation channels
• LLM integration - manage Claude, GPT, or equivalents in workflows and context handling
• User‑facing AI experiences - partner with frontend/product teams for AI insights in UI
• Evaluation and reliability - build frameworks to measure AI output quality and safety
• Contractor management - guide AI engineers and review contractor work
• AI productivity tooling - model best practices for AI‑assisted development
