Job summary

You will translate stakeholder objectives into structured decision models, design agentic AI workflows, and lead a small engineering team to deliver production-grade capabilities.

You will work with LangGraph, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, and Databricks to build reasoning, recommendations, and governance for member actions, ensuring measurable business impact and strong

Responsibilities

• Analyze and formally model business decision processes.
• Break complex processes into decision graphs and optimization opportunities.
• Determine where rules, models, or agentic systems add value.
• Design and implement production agent workflows using LangGraph and LangChain.
• Build AI-powered capabilities embedded into the Action Library.
• Own integration with Azure OpenAI and enterprise models via Humana's AI Gateway.
• Design retrieval-augmented architectures for reliable decision context.
• Operationalize reinforcement learning within NBA workflows.
• Create evaluation frameworks for decision and agent performance.
• Implement governance, observability, and auditability in a healthcare setting.
• Lead and mentor AI engineers and establish engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to productionize decisions.
