Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect in the United States to design and implement advanced memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects, drive context systems, and advance multi-agent memory designs across complex use cases.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of RAG, semantic chunking, and distributed inference; you will mentor engineers and collaborate with security, data and infrastructure teams in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Experience with AI native development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, code hosting and collaboration (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native infrastructures.
• Design context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against agent and human evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Lead and mentor the Knowledge/Data team in building Knowledge AI.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure to ensure practical outcomes.
• Support business development and present at academic conferences; contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and leadership of a skilled team.
