Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement advanced memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects, shaping multi-agent memory systems with RAG, semantic chunking, and scalable inference.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration across AI, security, data, and infrastructure to deliver practical, scalable solutions, and contribute to IP filings and academic engagements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Proficiency with AI native toolchains (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI native design processes and principles.
• Deep knowledge of model fine-tuning through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, code hosting and collaboration (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human evals.
• Design replicable integration frameworks for memory architecture across multiple systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI native design process.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals through research.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development activities for emerging technology.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP development.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and Data systems for Knowledge AI.
