Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI architects focused on durable, scalable multi-agent memory systems and advanced context management.

The role requires deep expertise in RAG, semantic chunking, and inference optimization across distributed systems. You will mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and contribute to strategic initiatives in a

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI Frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native software tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash etc…) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java etc…).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT etc…).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems across AI-native platforms.
• Design context systems including RAG and skills with semantic chunking.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmark against AI/human evals.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development activities for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and aid IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a team building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
