Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team in designing and implementing an AI agent control framework. The role focuses on agent authentication, tooling, state management, execution environments, and federated learning, with emphasis on telemetry and scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with AI, Security, and Infrastructure teams, mentor juniors, and drive development of universal agentic control harnesses while engaging with academia and IP filings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Typescript and Go, Rust, Java.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent environments.
• Architect agent identity/authentication in large-scale systems.
• Develop post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Benchmark architectures and test against AI/open-source evals.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with AI, Security, Data, and Infra teams.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural product functions.
