Job summary

EY seeks a Lead AI Software Architect to guide a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will shape scalable AI capabilities, including tool usage, state management, and execution environments, while ensuring security and observability across platforms.

You will collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to deliver practical architectures, mentor engineers, and drive innovation in agentic software.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, CS or Mathematics.
• 10+ years in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools and code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern code hosting (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent frameworks.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments.
• Design synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against evaluations.
• Create comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at conferences and assist IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced agentic capabilities.
