Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to head a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will shape scalable AI solutions, focusing on agent authentication, observability, persistence, and policy-driven architectures.

The role demands hands-on development and leadership in fast-paced environments. The candidate will drive design, collaboration across AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure, and contribute to IP filings while supporting strategic

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience working with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Typescript) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and scaffolding.
• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design post training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human evals.
• Develop comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Lead AI Native design processes and requirements.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts in building universal agentic control harnesses.
