Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing AI Agent Control, including tool usage, state management, execution environments, and policy definition. You will drive architecture for agent identity, authentication, and post-training environments, with hands-on development of advanced agentic capabilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding AI Native design principles and crypto-based identity/auth.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent setups.
• Architect agent identity and authentication at large scale.
• Oversee post-training and tuning/customization environments.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against evals.
• Lead a team delivering comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Guide AI-native design processes and governance across teams.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infra experts to balance outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic business development and IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced agentic capabilities.
