Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to coordinate Agile execution across multiple ARTs, lead PI planning, and manage cross‑team dependencies for mission‑critical programs.

You will develop execution metrics, provide delivery forecasting, and ensure program health using Jira, while partnering with product owners, systems engineering, and program leadership to align priorities and plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years serving as an RTE in SAFe or large-scale Agile environments.
• Experience leading PI planning activities, managing cross-team dependencies, and coordinating delivery across multiple Agile teams.
• Experience developing Agile execution metrics, delivery reporting, forecasting, and program health assessments.
• Experience utilizing Jira to support Agile planning, execution, reporting, workflow management, and technical baseline governance.
• Knowledge of ART operations, dependency management, risk management, and large-scale Agile execution.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting large‑scale Agile software, systems engineering, or operational programs, or 9+ years of experience supporting large‑scale Agile software, systems engineering, or operational programs in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Agile execution standards, governance processes, and best practices across the program.
• Coordinate PI planning across multiple ARTs and teams.
• Facilitate identification, management, and resolution of cross-team dependencies and delivery impediments.
• Drive synchronization across development, integration, testing, deployment, operations, and sustainment.
• Ensure Jira reflects program status and commitments; manage the technical baseline governance within Jira.
• Develop and maintain program-level execution metrics, delivery reporting, forecasting, and program health assessments.
• Monitor execution performance, capacity, and delivery trends.
• Partner with product owners and systems engineering to align priorities and plans.
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate significant risks and resource constraints to leadership.
