Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Agentic AI Engineering Lead to own the enterprise rollout of autonomous AI agents across the software delivery lifecycle, building the multi-agent orchestration platform and establishing robust controls for a highly regulated financial environment.

You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with security, risk, controls, and platform teams, and drive adoption from pilot to firm-wide production while evolving the governance model for AI autonomy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading AI/ML or platform engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the enterprise agent orchestration platform from the ground up: agent runtime, planner/executor loops, integration layer, memory and context management, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Define multi-agent patterns with supervisor/worker hierarchies, task decomposition, delegation, hand-off, and recovery.
• Own the enterprise rollout strategy: autonomy maturity ladder, onboarding paths, adoption metrics, and governance.
