Job Description And Duties

Treasury Department has an opening for an Accounting Administrative Analyst (Accounting Systems) classification. Under general guidance of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent will perform professional accounting duties of average difficulty to the following:

• Performs the more critical and complex analytical [Banking] System duties to facilitate efficiency
• Review and analyze the monthly disbursement bank account reconciliations to identify and resolve account variances.
• Participating related Banking projects
• Monitor check stock usage and check forgery items and analyzing
• Review and analyze payee positive pay items submitted by US Bank
• Analyze and ensure timely filing of the Unclaimed Property Accounts to multiple States according to compliance and regulation.
• Propose policies, procedures and guidelines for the unit to reflect current rules and regulations.
• Serve as primary liaison with internal & external auditors, MAR group, and consultants as needed.
