Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to develop, implement and support safe machining processes for rotor/field machining. You will code programs for lathes, NC centers and CNC machines, train operators, and collaborate with tooling engineers to ensure timely, quality outputs.

The role requires strong CAM experience (APt, G-code, Vericut, Mastercam, CAD/CAM), reading drawings to ANSI Y14.5 standards, and team collaboration to meet production goals and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Technical degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Experience with NC programming and machine tool operations.
• Proficiency in CAM software and Fanuc control environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a manufacturing setting.

Aufgaben

• Code and develop NC programs for lathes, HBM’s, NC machine centers, and other NC equipment.
• Develop tooling and NC programs to support cycle and cost-out initiatives.
• Train operators to execute programs with quality results.
• Collaborate with tooling engineers to specify tooling and maintain production schedules.
• Lead machinist training and qualification activities.
• Develop process workflows and provide timing estimates for operations.
• Create build books for new units and service jobs.
• Develop DFM guidelines and participate in capital equipment projects.
