Job summary

Resonant Sciences LLC in Dayton, Ohio seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced team supporting national defense initiatives. The role requires independent work, strong problem solving, and leadership in machine operations and programming for high-precision components.

Responsibilities include Mastercam/CATIA programming, toolpath optimization, fixturing design, and in-process verification. Candidates should have 5-axis experience and a strong background in G-code and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Requires experience with 5-axis CNC programs and Mastercam/CATIA.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting tolerances.
• Leadership experience and ability to plan, estimate time and materials.

Responsibilities

• Program 3-,4-, and 5-axis jobs using Mastercam, CATIA or equivalents.
• Review models, drawings and specs to understand requirements.
• Prove out NC programs; adjust tool paths, speeds and feeds.
• Setup machining and fixtures; perform in-process inspections.
• Assist with work instructions and quotations for new jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
