Job summary

Deckorators, a UFP Industries brand, seeks a Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift in injection molding to lead people, equipment and production on the floor in White Pigeon, Michigan.

The role emphasizes direct plastic injection molding experience, strong leadership, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced molding operation. Experience with PVC molding preferred; oversee maintenance, 5S, TPM, and mentoring of frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipment is required.
• PVC injection molding experience is strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of manufacturing experience.
• One to three years of experience leading, supervising, or managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the injection molding department during second shift.
• Direct, train, coach, and develop production employees.
• Communicate daily production priorities, expectations, and performance results to the team.
• Monitor production performance and make adjustments to meet safety, quality, cost, and output expectations.
• Oversee setup, operation, and performance of injection molding machines and related equipment.
