Job summary

UFP Industries seeks an Injection Molding Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift in the injection molding department. You will manage people, equipment, and daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output while coaching staff and driving improvements.

The role requires direct experience with plastic injection molding, knowledge of molding processes, and the ability to balance production demands with team leadership. PVC molding experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipment required.
• PVC injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of manufacturing experience required.
• One to three years of experience leading or supervising employees required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the second-shift operations of the injection molding department.
• Direct, coach, and develop production staff.
• Schedule personnel and equipment based on production needs and mold capacity.
• Monitor performance to meet safety, quality, cost and output targets.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance, mold changes, and equipment improvements.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives including 5S, TPM, and standard work.
