Job summary

Deckorators, a UFP Industries brand, seeks a Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift in the Injection Molding department at our White Pigeon, Michigan facility. You will lead people, equipment, and production activities on the second shift, guiding daily operations and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output.

The role requires direct PVC/injection molding experience, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to develop staff while improving processes through 5S and TPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipment.
• PVC injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of manufacturing experience.
• One to three years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Technical leadership experience and schooling or equivalent manufacturing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the injection molding department during second shift.
• Direct, train, coach, and develop production employees.
• Communicate daily production priorities and performance results to the team.
• Assign employees and equipment based on schedules, staffing, and capacity.
• Monitor performance and adjust to meet safety, quality, cost, and output goals.
• Oversee setup, operation, and performance of injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Ensure production checks, documentation, and quality inspections are completed on time.
