Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking a Manager-Assistant Nurse to join the Nursing Leadership Team. The ANM provides leadership to assigned department professional nursing staff, participates in budget development, and supports care delivery across units.

You will work closely with Nurse Managers, educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists to ensure high quality patient care, manage staffing, equipment and supplies, and help maintain regulatory readiness and accreditation.

Qualifications

• ASN/ADN in Nursing required.
• Must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience with ADN or 3 years RN with BSN or higher.
• Professional organization membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned department nursing staff.
• Participate in development and implementation of budgets (capital and operating).
• Ensure high quality patient care with appropriate staffing, equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers, educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and adherence to hospital policies.
