The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurse leaders, and staff to advance professional practice, governance, and service programs within their span of control.

Qualifications

• Licensure as RN in Georgia; national certification in clinical or leadership within 2 years of hire.
• Associates Degree; must enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum RN experience: 5 years with ADN or 3 years with BSN or higher; professional organization membership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing unit activities and ensures high-quality patient care.
• Leads staffing, scheduling, and budgets within unit; collaborates with nurse managers and educators.
• Supports professional practice and governance, and ensures regulatory readiness and compliance.
