Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a Manager-Assistant Nurse to lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and help drive unit performance and regulatory readiness. You will partner with Nurse Managers, educators, and specialists to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, and promoting professional practice standards while supporting the organization’s governance and strategic nursing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• ADN with 5 years RN experience or BSN with 3 years.
• National certification in clinical or leadership within 2 years of hire.
• Must enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of patient care team on the unit.
• Lead nursing staff and monitor quality of care during shifts.
• Assist in development and management of budgets and staffing.
• Collaborate with physicians and leaders to meet quality goals.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance across the unit.
