Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Manager-Assistant Nurse (ANM) to join the Nursing Leadership Team. You will lead assigned units, support budget development, and work closely with Nurse Managers and educators to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will foster professional practice, ensure regulatory readiness, and drive performance improvements across staffing, equipment, and services to support NGHS strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia; national certification in clinical or leadership specialty within 2 years of hire.
• Associates degree required; BSN enrolled within 6 months and completed within 3 years.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience with ADN or 3 years with BSN; professional organization membership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of patient care team and monitor care quality per shift.
• Conduct daily rounds to address patient/family/physician concerns and ensure service standards.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop nursing staff; oversee training and competency.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure appropriate care and outcomes.
• Schedule work, set priorities, and manage staffing within labor targets.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
