Job summary

BioAgilytix in San Diego, CA seeks a Scientist I to lead development, validation, and PK/ADME analysis of bioanalytical assays (LC-MS/MS, HPLC/UPLC). You will design experiments, supervise junior staff, ensure GLP/GxP compliance, and communicate results to clients.

The role requires strong data analysis, meticulous documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science with 6+ years in a scientific lab environment.
• Advanced degree holders with relevant PK/ADME experience are encouraged.
• GxP, GLP, GDP knowledge and strong documentation practices.
• Ability to design robust experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, validation, and sample analysis of large molecules using LC-MS/MS.
• Plan and direct experimental design for junior staff.
• Drive bioanalytical projects to align with client timelines.
• Communicate technical details and provide project updates to clients.
• Advise on PK/ADME assay best practices and write methods/reports.
• Perform statistical analysis and review documentation.
• Prepare reagents and manage supplies and inventory.
• Troubleshoot assays and design runs independently.
