Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS product demonstrations and application development. This on-site role is based in North America, with travel up to 50% to Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO.

You will partner with Sales, Service and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support, training, and technical expertise across Clinical and Forensics markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related life sciences.
• 2+ years experience with mass spectrometry and LC-MS/MS method development, validation and troubleshooting.
• Able to present data clearly to diverse audiences and build customer relationships.
• Experience with triple quadrupole instrumentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms.
• Identify growth opportunities with business and sales units.
• Develop comprehensive application solutions in collaboration with regional colleagues.
• Assist in defining and testing new hardware/software products; contribute to product portfolios.
