Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Application Scientist to lead LC/MS demonstrations and proteomics workflows in North America. You will train customers, develop methods, and support pre-sales visits while collaborating with sales and product teams.

Ideal candidates have strong presentation and scientific communication skills, with 3–10+ years in proteomics mass spectrometry and related workflows, and willingness to travel up to 50% in North America.

Qualifications

• BS with 10+ years, MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences with MS focus.
• Experience in proteomics workflows; exposure to metabolomics, lipidomics, pharma applications.
• Hands-on LC/MS workflows using accurate mass instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead LC/MS product demonstrations and proteomics workflows.
• Provide field application support and method development.
• Train customers and support pre-sales visits.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify opportunities.
