Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS product demonstrations, application development, training, and pre-sales activities. The role collaborates with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver technical expertise and customer solutions.

The position is on-site in North America (Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO) with up to 50% travel and a focus on accurate mass product portfolios and scientific outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field
• 2+ years of experience with mass spectrometry, LC-MS, and analytical methods development/troubleshooting for LC-MS/MS

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of SCIEX LC/MS workflows and provide on-site training and ongoing support
• Identify growth areas with sales units and pinpoint key application areas
• Develop solutions for internal use or customer deployment and collaborate across regions to build a suite of application solutions
• Assist in defining and developing new hardware/software products and thoroughly test new offerings
• Participate in conferences, seminars, and training to stay current and contribute to the field
