SCIEX is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS product demonstrations, application development, and customer-facing activities in North America. The role is on-site in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO with up to 50% travel and collaboration with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/biochemistry background with 2+ years in mass spectrometry, LC-MS, and method development, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field.
• Experience with mass spectrometry, LC-MS and method development/troubleshooting.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships with customers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms.
• Identify growth areas with business and sales units and develop application solutions.
• Contribute to development and testing of new hardware/software products.
• Represent SCIEX at scientific conferences and training programs.
