Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Senior Application Scientist – Proteomics in Marlborough, MA or Redwood Shores, CA for an on-site role. You will lead LC-MS product demonstrations, support pre-sales visits, and develop proteomics workflows in life sciences research and pharma markets.

You will collaborate with sales, service and product teams, while advancing hardware and software solutions and acting as a scientific ambassador for the proteomics community.

Qualifications

BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Life Sciences; MS/PhD preferred.
Demonstrated proteomics workflows experience.
Strong LC-MS qualitative/quantitative workflow experience.
Excellent presentation and customer-facing skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead LC-MS product demonstrations and proteomics workflows for customers.
Provide field application support, method development and training.
Collaborate with sales, service and product teams for pre-sales activities.
Design end-to-end workflows including sample prep and data processing.
Represent SCIEX at conferences and engage the proteomics community.
