Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team, solve problems, and keep work moving without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a lawn maintenance crew during daily operations.
• Review daily schedules and ensure crews arrive at jobsites on time.
• Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other lawn equipment.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup to company quality standards.
• Ensure properties are serviced efficiently and consistently.
• Inspect completed work and correct issues before leaving the jobsite.
• Train crew members on equipment operation, safety, and proper work procedures.
• Maintain equipment, perform basic maintenance, and report repairs as needed.
• Monitor productivity and communicate delays, jobsite issues, and customer concerns to management.
• Ensure trucks, trailers, and equipment are properly loaded, secured, and maintained.
• Follow company safety procedures and protect customer property.
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal services as needed.

Pay: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Employment: Full-time, seasonal workload with potential for year-round employment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with additional hours during peak season and snow events

About the Position

Rochester Ground LLC is looking for a hardworking, dependable Lawn Care Foreman to lead our lawn maintenance crew. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality work, knows how to operate commercial lawn equipment, and can keep a crew productive and organized.
