Job summary

Rhoades Levy Law Group in Northbrook, IL seeks an experienced Bookkeeper & Billing Specialist. This in-office, part-time role (minimum 20 hours) can scale to 37.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule tied to the billing cycle.

The role centers on bookkeeping, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly reporting. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in bookkeeping, strong QuickBooks and MS Office skills, and experience working with CPAs.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in professional services, legal, or small business environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Oversee client billing and payments tracking.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations monthly.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs/accountants as needed.
• Maintain accurate records with strong documentation.
