Heyl Royster, a large Peoria law firm, is seeking a motivated Accounting/Billing Clerk for full-time work in our Peoria office. The role emphasizes independent management of billing processes across locations, invoice generation, and accuracy in bookkeeping.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in accounting and experience with billing, Excel, and proprietary software, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in accounting and prior accounting experience preferred.
• Experience as an Accounting Clerk with a focus on billing.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage billing for multiple office locations and vendors.
• Generate invoices through client billing sites, email, and mail while following guidelines.
• Use accounting software and other programs to manage processes.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing-related tasks.
