Ideal candidates hold a JD or are enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study. Proficiency with Westlaw/Lexis and bluebook is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires JD or current ABA-accredited law student with at least one year of study.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research procedures.
• Thorough familiarity with LEXIS and Westlaw; blue book proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex legal research for the trial staff.
• Assists in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions and briefs.
• Cite checking via online legal research tools (Westlaw and Lexis) and blue book.
• Reviews and researches ROI-related and other pertinent legal matters.
• Assists attorneys with all phases of litigation.
