Job summary

O'Melveny & Myers LLP seeks a senior litigation attorney to lead law and motion efforts and serve as embedded appellate counsel at trial. You will be responsible for complex, multi-team coordination and high-stakes motions and briefs.

The role requires demonstrated experience in brief writing, case management, and supervising junior attorneys, with preferred background in MDLs and mass torts. Judicial clerkships are a plus.

• Candidates are expected to be proficient in all forms of trial-level written advocacy, including dispositive and evidentiary motions, jury instructions, and verdict forms.
• The role requires demonstrated experience in brief writing, case management, and the ability to manage multiple significant matters simultaneously, including supervising junior attorneys.
• Experience working with large multi-member teams is essential, with an emphasis on coordinating across teams and driving strategy in complex litigation workflows toward trial.
• Preferred experience includes managing law and motion teams specifically for trial, working on MDLs, bellwether trials, and coordinated state court proceedings.
• Experience in the product liability and mass tort space is considered a plus.
• Judicial clerkships are preferred.
