Job summary

O'Melveny & Myers LLP seeks a senior litigation attorney to lead law and motion efforts and serve as embedded appellate counsel at trial. You will be responsible for complex, multi-team coordination and high-stakes motions and briefs.

The role requires demonstrated experience in brief writing, case management, and supervising junior attorneys, with preferred background in MDLs and mass torts. Judicial clerkships are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to argue litigations at trial and in motions.
• Strong written advocacy across dispositive and evidentiary matters.
• Experience managing cases and supervising junior attorneys.
• Ability to coordinate multi-team litigation and drive strategy toward trial.

Responsibilities

• Lead law and motion efforts in advance of trial.
• Serve as embedded appellate counsel at trial and on appeal.
• Supervise junior attorneys and manage case portfolios.
• Coordinate across large multi-member teams to execute trial strategy.
• Experience with MDLs, bellwether trials, and multi-jurisdiction proceedings preferred.
