Job summary

O\'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced trial attorney to lead law and motion work in advance of trials and to serve as embedded appellate counsel on trial teams. You will manage complex litigation workflows, coordinate across multiple teams, and drive strategy in cases moving toward trial, while preserving issues for appeal and briefing on complex legal issues.

Preferred background includes MDLs and bellwether trials with experience in product liability or mass torts;

• Serve as embedded appellate counsel on trial teams, preserving issues for appeal, developing strategy, and leading briefing on complex legal issues.
• Experience leading law and motion teams on MDLs, bellwether trials, coordinated state court proceedings, with preference for product liability and mass torts.

• Manage complex litigation workflows, coordinate across multiple teams, drive strategy in cases proceeding toward trial, and manage multiple significant matters simultaneously.
• Serve as embedded appellate counsel on trial teams, partnering with trial counsel to preserve issues for appeal, develop legal strategy, and lead briefing on complex legal issues.
• Preferred experience includes managing law and motion teams for trial, working on MDLs, bellwether trials, coordinated state court proceedings, and prior embedded appellate roles, with a preference for experience in product liability and mass torts.
