Job summary

Chelsea Jewish Foundation's Brudnick Center for Living is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support resident care by managing laundry operations in a healthcare setting.

This full-time role from 7:00AM–3:00PM, Monday–Friday, offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, contributing to a compassionate team in Peabody, MA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean laundry according to facility procedures.
• Collect soiled linens, towels, and resident clothing from designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area and operate equipment properly.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures when handling laundry.
