Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Albany 576 operations based in Malta, NY. This role offers hands-on project management and estimating experience with unlimited growth potential within an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and coordination of materials and warranties. Salary is $79,400 with a bonus program; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills on technical job functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Support PCI QA/QC program.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Support the job schedule implementation.
• Coordinate warranties and O&Ms.
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.
