Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for PCI Los Angeles 557 operations in Anaheim, CA. The role provides hands-on experience in project management, estimating, and growth within an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch lists, RFIs, submittals, and scheduling support. A bachelor’s degree in CM/CE/CS or equivalent is required, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings and coordinate with project teams.
• Create and manage punch lists and QA/QC tasks.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals for projects.
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Perform takeoffs for material ordering and support project scheduling.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s; assist in material coordination with PO’s and invoicing.
