Job summary

Globus Medical / NuVasive Clinical Services in Kentucky seeks a Neuromonitoring Specialist/Associate Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative monitoring during surgeries, collaborating with top surgeons and clinical staff. This entry-level position offers full training and exposure to advanced IOM technology.

You will maintain equipment, document logs, travel to operating rooms, and uphold compliance with healthcare standards. Ability to travel up to 25% and pass credentialing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; no prior experience may be acceptable.
• CNIM eligibility via ABRET pathways (R EEG T, R EP T, or approved program).
• Knowledge of intraoperative monitoring and anatomy/physiology preferred.
• Strong time management and organization; able to handle changing OR schedules.
• Excellent English communication with surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and discuss monitored modalities with the surgeon.
• Communicate monitoring data to the surgical team during cases.
• Record waveforms, latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per protocol.
• Prepare IOM logs and documentation accurately.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IOM equipment and perform maintenance checks.
• Travel to hospitals; participate in training and compliance activities.
