Job summary

NuVasive Clinical Services Monitoring, Inc. is seeking a Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery, ensuring high standards of patient care in collaboration with top surgeons and the surgical team.

You will document IOM data, label waveforms, and maintain equipment while traveling up to 25% and meeting hospital privilege requirements. CNIM certification and a strong background in IONM are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 2 years related experience; advanced degree acceptable.
• CNIM certification is required.
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and anatomy/physiology preferred.
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to handle changing schedules.
• Excellent English communication with surgeons and staff.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and obtain hospital privileges.
• Maintain CNIM status and medical malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery with IONM.
• Communicate monitoring information to the surgeon and team in real time.
• Label and interpret waveforms, calculating latencies and conduction times per protocol.
• Prepare IOM logs and ensure timely documentation and uploads.
• Maintain and troubleshoot neuromonitoring equipment and perform maintenance checks.
• Comply with applicable laws, policies and codes of conduct.
• Travel up to 25% and support hospitals as needed.
