Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CNIM eligible via ABRET
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and anatomy/physiology
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed medical history and consult with the surgeon regarding patient structures at risk and modalities to be monitored
• Communicate monitoring information to the surgeon and surgical team throughout the case
• Display and label waveforms, and measure latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per guidelines
• Identify appropriate protocols and troubleshoot to ensure accurate data collection
• Complete documentation and maintain IOM logs/files/uploads
• Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform routine maintenance checks
