Job summary

NuVasive Clinical Services, a Globus Medical subsidiary, seeks a Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery, ensuring patient safety and high-quality data collection. Entry level or experienced candidates are welcome; travel up to 25% and the ability to set up IONM equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience, or an advanced degree without experience
• CNIM certification
• Knowledge of IONM and/or anatomy & physiology; troubleshooting preferred
• Operating Room experience preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple demands
• Effective communication in English with surgeons and staff; travel readiness
• Be eligible for hospital privileges and CNIM maintenance

Responsibilities

• Obtains a detailed medical history and consults with the surgeon regarding patient structures at risk
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and surgical team during the case
• Displays and labels waveforms for marking, measuring and calculating data per guidelines
• Identifies protocols and performs troubleshooting to ensure accurate data collection
• Completes documentation and prepares IOM logs and uploads
• Maintains neuromonitoring equipment and conducts maintenance checks
• Adheres to company policies and compliance requirements
• Represents the company professionally in all interactions
