Job summary

Globus Medical's NuVasive Clinical Services is seeking a Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery, monitoring the patient’s nervous system. You will work with top surgeons and medical professionals in a team environment and support NuVasive innovations; this is a field-based role with comprehensive training and career development opportunities.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, CNIM certification, OR experience preferred,

Qualifications

CNIM certification is required or preferred.
Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM).
Operating Room experience is preferred.
Strong communication in English with surgical teams.
Good time management and organization; handle changing schedules.

Responsibilities

Obtains detailed medical history and consults with the surgeon on monitored modalities.
Communicates monitoring information to the surgical team during cases.
Displays and labels waveforms, measures latencies and conduction times per guidelines.
Identifies appropriate protocols and troubleshoots data collection.
Completes documentation and maintains IOM logs and uploads.
Maintains neuromonitoring equipment and performs maintenance checks.
Adheres to company conduct and compliance policies.
Undergoes training and supports innovations in NuVasive technology.
