Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Workers' Compensation, to undergo comprehensive training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. You will work with experienced professionals to develop skills needed to manage workers' compensation claims independently after the program, typically lasting up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; related internship or experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service or insurance is a plus.
• Must be willing to obtain an active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and claims management systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claim processes, and systems.
• Assist in reviewing and documenting Workers' Compensation claims under supervision.
• Investigate and evaluate action plans for claim resolution and coverage.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Aim to return injured workers to work when appropriate in coordination with medical resources.
