Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn claims management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, and systems.
• Assist in reviewing, investigating, and documenting Workers Compensation claims under supervision.
• Investigate and develop action plans for claim resolution; assess coverage and compensability.
• Participate in telephonic and/or onsite file reviews.
• Learn to determine coverage and exposure based on policy terms and claim facts.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Aim to return an injured party to work by coordinating medical treatment when appropriate.
• Demonstrate openness to continuous learning, including AI and digital tools.
• Acquire and maintain required Insurance License(s) within three months.
