Rocket Lab in Middle River, MD, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing technologies for the Neutron launch vehicle structure. You will plan build, support integration, and develop tools and work instructions with cross-functional teams.

BS in engineering and 2+ years in aerospace hardware are required; familiarity with 3D CAD and large assemblies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in industrial, mechanical, or aerospace engineering or related degree.
• 2+ years building and testing hardware for space launch vehicles or similar aerospace hardware.
• Experience modeling with 3D CAD, producing prints, and working with large assemblies.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute the build and integration of Neutron and flight hardware.
• Develop con-ops, ground support tooling, and processes for handling components, large assemblies, and integrated modules.
• Develop build methods to increase throughput, reduce errors, and simplify processes.
• Support Neutron integration engineers in developing day-to-day vehicle integration, fluid system, avionics, and AFTS.
