Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks Launch Ops Manufacturing Engineers (Levels II, III, Sr) to design and optimize production systems at Space Coast, FL. You will drive DFx, DFA, DFT, and manufacturing documentation while partnering with design, quality, and supply chain to boost reliability and throughput.

Ideal candidates bring strong manufacturing engineering experience, GD&T expertise, and lean methods, with willingness to work second shift and extend hours as needed. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering for Level II; 5+ for Level III; 8+ for Sr.
• Experience creating English work instructions and ability to work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Support industrialization of new products across solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
• Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), DFA, and DFT to enable reliable space hardware.
• Translate engineering requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes; collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods; apply lean and continuous improvement.
